We are thrilled to provide booking, payment and other technology solutions (the “Services”) to artists, stylists, makeup, skin, hair professionals, wellness professionals, and other beauty and wellness merchants (“Professionals”).
This Privacy Policy explains how GlossGenius, Inc. (“GlossGenius,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information from and about Professionals, including through glossgenius.com, cardreader.glossgenius.com, the GlossGenius mobile app, and related services. This Policy only applies to the information we collect from and about Professionals and not from or about individuals who may interact with Professionals, such as by booking or paying for appointments. If you are an individual who has used the Services to provide personal information to a Professional and have questions about their data handling practices, please consult the Professional’s privacy policy and contact the Professional if you have questions or wish to exercise any rights you may have under applicable law.

For instance, if you choose to invite or refer a friend to use the Services through our “Refer-a-Friend” feature, you can submit your contact’s phone number or email address and have GlossGenius send the invite email.
Payment Processing. In connection with our payment processor vendor, Stripe, we may collect certain payment information that you have provided to Stripe, including payment card number, expiration date, and authorization number or security code, and TIN, for purposes of providing our Services and troubleshooting and support purposes.

We and our vendors, which include ad networks and analytics companies such as Google Analytics, may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about the computers or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Services. We and our vendors may use cookies, clear GIFs, pixel tags, and other technologies that help us better understand user behavior, personalize preferences, perform research and analytics, and improve the Services. For example, if you explicitly sign up for GlossGenius as a member of a salon suite or opt in to other jointly-offered products or services, we may share your personal information with such third parties.

GlossGenius is currently only available for use within the United States. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you are located in the United States and are otherwise eligible to use the Services. Creating a GlossGenius account outside the United States is a violation of our Terms of Service and we reserve the right to terminate such accounts immediately.
We may change this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law, our information practices or the features of the Services. We will indicate the date of the most recent update in the Privacy Policy.
