This month's Community Night Roundtable featured a special panel of GlossGenius Ambassadors and Educators who took us through their journey, experience, and wisdom as entrepreneurs and proud members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. After the roundtable, we asked each of our panelists to share a special piece of wisdom about what it means to create an inclusive space in their salon environment. Watch their responses below.

Octavia Jones

Owner of Forever Aura Skincare
Licensed Medical Aesthetician

Question: “What specific actions have you taken to show allyship in building your salon business? How do you make inclusion possible without having to think about it?”

Kendall Whitley

Licensed Hair Stylist and Educator
GlossGenius Educator

Question: “What advice would you give to those who want to become stronger allies, who may not identify as LGBTQ+ but who want to support the community?”

Larry Ball

Founder of MannBrow
Licensed Makeup and Brow Artist
GlossGenius Ambassador
